Eerie Encounters : Abducted in the Village of Dark Magic (Part II)

 Seeing her vision starting to happen in real, Kate jumped out of the window to try and save her daughter as the door was not opening. Since their room was only on the first floor of the resort, Kate did not sustain any major injuries. Seeing her daughter walk into the forest, Kate ran towards the forest with blood oozing out of the cuts made by the broken glass on her body. ( End of Part I)

Part II

 Despite Kate screaming “Nancy” at the top of her voice multiple times, her daughter never seemed to get out of her trance. Kate ran as fast as she could but right in front of her eyes, Nancy disappeared into the thick wilderness. She followed Nancy’s trial into the forest but because of her inexperience in navigating through the forest and the fact that the trees were so densely packed, just after taking a few steps into the forest, she felt completely lost. As she stood there wondering how to find her daughter, she heard “Mom, help me” in her daughter’s voice continuously.

 Kate thought that her daughter was finally out of her trance and started walking in the direction the voice came from. As she kept walking in this direction, she saw her daughter’s figure running away from her. Kate was relieved seeing her daughter and started chasing her. While chasing her, only one thought kept lingering in Kate’s mind. Why would her own daughter run away from Kate shouting “Mom, help me”? This thought swiftly vanished as Kate tripped over a rock and fell down. It was at this point she realised, she was running towards a huge cliff and her daughter’s figure and voice were an illusion.

 Kate was completely lost and she was feeling terrible for not being able to save her daughter. As she stood near the cliff with tears rolling out of her eyes, a hand firmly grasped her shoulder. Kate initially thought that her husband had followed her and placed her hand over this hand on her shoulder. She was however caught off guard when she heard her husband’s voice approaching her from a distance. Before she could react, this hand on her shoulder started trying to push her off the cliff and Kate started to scream asking for help. Hearing her cries for help, Dane ran towards his struggling wife and saved her.

 When Dane asked her what she was doing in that place, Kate explained everything that happened until then to him. Although Dane was not able to completely believe his wife, he decided to not question her as she was already worried. Dane and Kate had no clue about their daughter’s location and sought the help of the local police. Dane was able to speed up the investigation with the help of his friend who was an ex-policeman. But not even the police’s canine units were able to trace down Nancy. After searching continuously for over 6 hours, the police decided to resume their search the next day as it was already 10 pm.

 After the police left, Dane and Kate went back to their room helplessly. As Dane sat near the repaired window looking at the forest in which his daughter went missing, he noticed flocks of birds flying off trees in the middle of the forest. The flying birds were accompanied by the smoke of a fire. Dane immediately understood that something was going wrong in that part of the forest and he instinctively felt that he might find his daughter there. So taking his wife with him, Dane rushed into the forest in the direction he saw the flying birds.

 As the couple got closer and closer to this spot, they heard the deafening sound of drums being played. The screams of their daughter were heard despite the loud drum sounds. Dane and Kate understood that they were getting closer to their daughter and increased their pace. As they reached the spot, Kate found Nancy tied upon an Altar and just as she saw in her vision, a blood-smeared naked woman was plucking out her hair one by one. Kate ran towards her trying to stop her but the two naked women she saw the previous night held her tight and tied her up. When Dane tried to help his wife and daughter, the other women present there tied him up. The women tied both of them to a nearby tree and one of them whispered, “I know you would come here. Enjoy the rest of the show” in Kate’s ear.

 The blood-smeared woman started to carve out symbols on the body of the little girl right in front of the eyes of her parents. Nancy’s shouts of pain and her parents’ shouts of help overshadowed the loud sound of beating drums. As the woman kept playing with her knife on the poor girl’s bare skin, the others started licking the blood that came out of the open cuts. One of the women collected Nancy’s blood in a cup as it dripped off the altar and forcefully poured it into the mouths of Kate and Dane. When they refused to drink it, she closed their nostrils and mouth at the same time to make them forcefully drink it.

 When Kate and Dane closed their eyes to stop seeing the torture their daughter was going through, this woman who forcefully fed them the blood, opened their eyelids forcefully and firmly held them open. She was apparently enjoying this. The couple were completely drained and had no strength to even shout for help as they helplessly watched their daughter suffer.

 After filling Nancy’s bare body with cuts, the blood-smeared woman raised her knife high to kill her. Dane shouted, “Don’t do it, please” with his already dry throat but she just wouldn’t listen. As her knife almost pierced through Nancy’s heart, Dane closed his eyes despite the woman holding his eyelids firmly due to a gun firing right next to him. When he opened his eyes, the saw the blood-smeared woman lying dead in a pool of her own blood and the other women were running away from the place. Sensing that his daughter was finally safe, Dane closed his eyes in exhaustion.

 When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a hospital and his wife was lying in a bed next to him. He immediately got out of his bed and rushed out of the room he was kept in, to make sure his daughter was safe. When he got out of his room, he was greeted by the face of the resort’s manager. He asked Dane to calm down and told him that his daughter was stable after treatment. He walked him to the intensive care unit of the hospital and Dane confirmed that his daughter was indeed safe.

 So, how did she miraculously survive? Seeing Dane rush into the forest, the resort manager called the police asking them for help. When the police finally arrived, he led them into the forest in the direction he saw Dane and his wife run and they eventually reached the place where they were held captive right before Nancy was about to get killed. Seeing what was happening, one of the police officers shot at the woman holding the knife just before she plunged her knife into Nancy and killed her. Before the police untied Nancy from the altar, all the naked women present there had already disappeared including the woman who was shot dead. Although it was strange, the police decided to save Nancy’s life first as she was already turning blue because of the blood she was losing. So, they immediately rushed Nancy, Kate and Dane to a nearby hospital and saved Nancy’s life.

 The manager told Dane that the women were about to sacrifice his daughter but because of her good luck, she survived.
