Story Cntd

Ajay got married to another girl named Athira after his first wife died and he decided to stay back with his wife in India itself. It took quite some time for him to recover from the loss of his first wife but, with time, he fell in love with Athira again. His parents were elated to see him happy again. To add to all the good occurrences in his life, his wife was pregnant. Life was going smoothly until he started seeing the figure of the man he had seen earlier in Malaysia.

But this time, the figure seemed to be aggressive. He tried to capture a snap of the figure many times but the photo was always distorted. Not sure of what to do, he continued to live with fear. One day while he was watching TV sitting on the couch, he saw the figure staring at him in his peripheral. Before he turned to see what it was, the figure had apparently moved near him and cut his forearm with its clawed hand. When he shouted in pain, the figure had disappeared.

After this occurrence, he informed his father about the happenings in his life who after hearing everything, took him to a black magician named Nair. Ajay explained everything about that figure to him. Upon hearing it, Nair stood mum for a few moments. Ajay understood that something was terribly wrong just by having a look at his eyes. Nair told them that an Odiyan was on Ajay’s trial and he also told that he was not sure about its intentions.

Worried about his son, Ajay’s father asked Nair if there was any ritual that would save his son to which he replied,” I do not possess the power to control Odiyans but, I know one more person who does it. He is not in town now. I will let you know when he returns. You go meet him and he will surely help you”. Nair’s words gave Ajay a glimmer of hope.

He did not tell his wife anything about this figure as he felt it would mentally disturb her. He quit his job to take care of his wife as her due date was nearing. He led a happy life despite, the sporadic sight of the figure of an Odiyan until, his wife’s baby shower. He went to sleep along with his wife, earlier than usual as they were tired from the day’s proceedings. His sleep was disturbed by the sound of a man chanting spells. The sound seemed to be coming from the hall and he followed it. When he entered the hall, he saw the figure that he had been seeing, doing some ritual with its blood. When he shouted "Who is this”, it disappeared.

Black Magic

He saw eggs and a few drops of blood on the place the figure disappeared. He cleaned it and went back to sleep hoping, for the person Nair had mentioned to return soon. After that incident, Athira started to behave like Rithika, his first wife. She said that she heard a voice in her head that told her to kill herself if she did not want her child and husband to die. Ajay felt helpless when he heard it as he knew how it would end.

Athira tried to kill herself multiple times by hanging herself but, he saved her every time. When the date of delivery was due in a week, Athira set herself on fire and died with the baby in her womb. Ajay was mentally broken yet again and decided not to marry once more. The figure started to directly cause physical harm to him after the death of Athira.

The man Nair had spoken highly of, was finally back in town. Ajay rushed to meet him as soon as he heard the news of his arrival and to his delightful surprise, it was the father of Rithika, the girl who his parents wanted to marry earlier. He explained everything that happened in his life because of that figure to which, he laughed. Ajay was clouded with confusion by his gesture and asked him for a solution. He revealed a major truth that raged Ajay. He told him that he himself put that Odiyan on his trial, and warned Ajay that he would suffer until he married his daughter.

Ajay was taken aback hearing this and punched in his face until he fell unconscious and left the place in fear. Later that evening, he was startled to hear that his brother was killed by an Odiyan. Not in a position to take any more losses he ran back to the place of Rithika’s father and begged him to remove that Odiyan from his trials. He told him that he would only do it if he married his daughter to which he agreed. After the families met each other, the date for the wedding was planned and Ajay married Rithika on the decided date. That man who was now his father-in-law, removed the Odiyan from Ajay’s trail as he promised. Within a month of their marriage, Ajay’s father-in-law died of a heart attack and when Rithika rushed to the hospital after hearing this news, she was hit by a truck and died on spot. Ajay went into depression after, even his third wife died, and hasn’t recovered from his losses until today.
